On June 8th The Science Museum of Minnesota hosted "Social Science: Pixar Preview" a 21+ evening for their new exhibit "The Science Behind Pixar." The exhibit runs through Labor Day September 4, 2017.
The exhibit is great for anyone who has ever wondered how a 3D animated film made all the way to the super geek (like moi). It had great photo ops.

The best parts of the exhibit was all the hands on stations that let you try your hand at all the different aspects that come together to make a film.
There were all sorts of activity stations to try.
Build a robot.
Learn how to move objects on a 3D space.
Learn camera perspective in movies like "A Bug's Life."
You could try out stop motion animation.
I highly recommend the exhibit. I may have taken 3 hours to get through it... it probably won't take you that long but there is plenty more to do at the museum and you can easily spend a whole day exploring and learning!
